Guest Lecture on “Advertising and Branding Strategies of Multinational Companies in Rural India”

Department of Advertising & Brand Management had organised a guest lecture on Saturday, 28th September, 2013. The lecture was attended by more than 90 students of ABM, Fine Arts and Management students of the university.

The lecture was delivered by Ms. Pinky Maheshwari, Brand Manager Vodafone India. Ms. Pinky Maheshwari has gained more than 7 yrs. of experience in brand /communication strategies. She has worked with Ogilvy n Mather India. She has discussed the case studies on the branding strategies formulated by multinational companies, which are focused on rural consumers in India. She has surveyed over 145 villages across India and acquainted with the consumer behaviour and lifestyle of this segment.

The lecture was fully interactive and indeed interesting. It was a meaningful experience for the students.
